Woops, I'm super behind... >.< And probably will be like that the rest of the trip haha. (til we get to London)
Today was the last beach day of our trip :( Good thing I didn't run out of sunscreen til after today! Woke up and had a lazy morning, not leaving our apartment until after 12 noon. We then tried to go back to Da Sergio for pizza, but they were too full (so sad!), so we went to another pizzeria instead and shared a pizza.
Afterwards, we tried to take the taxi boat to Amarin beach (which is a while outside of the town center), but when we went to the stop, the next one wasn't departing for half an hour, so we opted to walk instead. The walk wasn't bad (and surprisingly we didn't get lost!) but it took pretty much an hour to get there haha. The beach itself is more of a resort, but apparently a lot of other tourists go there as well, as there aren't any restrictions as to who can access it. And it wasn't a sand beach, but rather small white pebbles. But the water was clear, and there were plenty of areas to swim, as well as volleyball courts!
Had a bit of difficulty meeting up with Andre since the beach was so big, but then we saw his sister, and were able to meet up! Apparently he had been walking around asking if anyone had seen "Two Chinese Girls" since he couldn't find us.... hahaha. We went for a quick swim, and the water wasn't too cold! And then afterwards played some beach volleyball! Luckily, the other players there weren't very good either, so Steph and I didn't have to feel too ashamed of our own playing ability. Andre was pretty bored though, since he's super pro having played in college haha. By the time we finished, it was around 7pm, and we said goodbye and took the taxi boat back to Rovinj!
For dinner, we decided to go back to Maestral for seafood! I got tuna, which wasn't as good as the grilled sea bass I got last time, and Steph got grilled calamari. But the view was great, (sad I didn't bring my camera so I couldn't take night pictures...) and after we finished, we just walked back to our apartment to pack and get ready to leave tomorrow.
